Toy Story 4 is set to hit theaters in just a few months and Disney is busy releasing promo posters of Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang. But one teaser stood out because it featured a character that’s been mostly MIA in subsequent installments, Bo Peep!

Disney Pixar just released a poster and teaser video of Bo Peep (or simply “Bo,” according to Disney) and my oh my, she’s sporting a fresh new look! According to the grapevine, Toy Story 4’s plot will revolve around the return of Bo Peep and the adventure that’s ahead during her comeback.

In the movie, Woody takes an unexpected detour while on a road trip with Bonnie. He finds himself face to face with his ladylove for the first time in years and she’s not the same woman that Woody knew.

“Bo’s taken control of her own destiny,” director Josh Cooley explained in a written statement. “While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again.”

Apart from sporting an adventure-friendly outfit to reflect her free spirit, Bo Peep has built a life on the road with a feisty attitude to match.

“She is modern, independent, capable and confident,” added Annie Potts, who will reprise her voice role as the porcelain doll. “Bo is written and conceived to be inspiring as she has weathered life’s ups and downs with grace. I aspire to that.”

Bo Peep is one of the 1995 movie’s original characters. Woody and Bo Peep had a special connection during the first installment of the Toy Story franchise and now that she is back – chipped, faded but wiser – will she try romance with Woody once again? Judging by the trailer, Bo Beep’s form isn’t the only thing that changed since she was gone. Bo and Woody also grew apart.
